It's who I am that should define what I'm called. who is SLYSTOAT? upon first meeting slystoat, one will find that the tom exudes confidence. he spent most of his warriorhood building relationships with his fellow warriors, eager to climb the social ladder to deputy. slystoat is always up to various schemes, allowing only those in his trusted circle to know his movements. such a circle is only a handful of his clanmates, which include his peers and his apprentices. he is not much the tom to go searching for love, and has not so much as had a single crush in his lifetime thus far. though the idea of having promising offspring to continue the family line is something that intrigues him. |

DID YOU KNOW? Slystoat and his littermates were not named until he was nearly six moons old. His clanmates found it quite ridiculous that Gannetheart and Claymouse did not name their kits at birth, but instead, waited until their personalities shown through. They were named shortly before their 5th moon. Slystoat was known to be the ring leader of his siblings. |

HIS HISTORY.
WILDKIT
1-6
Wildkit and Vixenkit are born one early leaf-fall morning to Shellpuddle and Pikestone. Named for his unruly fur at birth, Wildkit was often teased by his sister for his "unusual" name, though all in good fun. Both kits don't see much of their father, a stoic RiverClan warrior. Both kits yearn for their father's approval, often playing "intense" games of moss ball in the clearing when he appears, but his reaction is lackluster. His mother does her best to be there for her kits, but both kits yearn for a close relationship with their father.
WILDPAW
6-7
Wildkit is named Wildpaw, and given Lilystream as a mentor. Wildpaw develops a kitten crush on his mentor.
8-9
Wildpaw befriends Ratpaw, a ShadowClan apprentice, at his first gathering. The two grow close, meeting every moon if given the opportunity to attend the gathering. Meanwhile, he trains often with his littermate and their mentors, harnessing his warrior skills. His father never makes an attempt to get to know his kits.10-11
Tensions between RiverClan and ShadowClan are rising as Spindlestar makes continued attempts to take RiverClan territory. Though young, Wildpaw recognizes the issue and struggles to maintain a happy friendship with Ratpaw, despite the latter's friendliness.12-14
His warrior assessment is interrupted by a call for battle. He overhears that the border patrol was attacked by ShadowClan. Placed on the patrol only to deliver messages back to camp, Wildpaw rushes to the scene, frantically searching for his mother. Weaving through the battle, Wildpaw finds Shellpuddle locked in battle with Nutmegshade, the ShadowClan deputy. Before he can rush to help, he's tackled to the ground, teeth fastened in his ear. He remembers a blinding pain in his ear, blood dripping down his face after managing to fight off his attacker. He finds his attacker is Ratpaw. After recognizing Wildpaw, Ratpaw races off into battle to find another opponent. Chasing after the ShadowClan apprentice, Wildpaw is attacked by none other than Spindlestar herself. Her teeth sink into the left side of his face. She leaves him on the ground, the pain blinding him as he lay out on the grass bleeding. He doesn't remember much after that, other than being told by a tearful Vixenpaw that Shellpuddle had been murdered by Nutmegshade. His sister is then given the warrior name Vixenprowl, while he watches listens from the inside of the medicine cat den. He spends the next two moons healing after going partially blind.15-16
Wildpaw is retaught how to hunt and fight to adapt due to his partial blindness. He persevered, but at a cost. His once cheerful and hopeful personality soured, and he became a stoic figure much like his father. He often keeps to himself, seeing and hearing the whispers of his clanmates. At sixteen moons he is given the name Wildtide, for his perseverance. WILDTIDE
17-22
Finstar decides to make an alliance with WindClan after their camp suffers from a stampede and must be rebuilt. While his clanmates keep their distance but remain respectful, Wildtide can't help but be somewhat curious. He meets a WindClan she cat named Egretswan. She is one of the first to not avoid him, or stare blatantly at his scarred face. The two find that have much in common, and strike up a friendship.
23-27
After WindClan returns to their camps, Wildtide and Egretswan maintain their friendship. The two scarcely visit horseplace every couple of moons. Wildtide aids her in overcoming her stutter, and she helps him harness his warrior skills. During this time, he develops a crush on her. #
